November 9, 2021- Our team under RFSU were able to hold a Refresher workshop under our SEND Project (Sexuality Education and non-Discrimination) at the Crowne Hotel in Buchanan City with 15 male and female participants as well as county leaders and representatives of the Ministry of Gender.

October 29, 2021: Under the RFSU project, our team conducted two site visit(s) in Grand Bassa County in two villages as well as making a ‘stop’ to our recently acquired office space in Fair Ground.

We also visited Schools and other areas of which women and children spend most of their time in Fair Ground.

Margibi County, Grandbassa County, Rivercess County and Montserrado County received our Condom distribution as well as stickers with ‘know your rights’ slogans.

October 20, 2021 under the AJWS/DRL, we hosted a ‘Know Your Right’ Workshop in West Point Montserrado County successfully.

Representatives from Star of the Sea Clinic, WACPS LNP, Secretary from the West Point Commission Office, MSM and LBQT participates.

October 23, 2021- Cestos City: our new Cestos City Adolescent Girls Sport team had a practice Session to show us some of their best techniques as work started for our team.

Cestos City, Buchanan- October 23-27, 2021 We launched the first of its kind “Know your Rights” Campaign which was one of the various activities ongoing for AJWS and DRL.

The launching was done at Fair Ground Community, at LEGAL/SOSNOL ASSOCIATION OF LIBERIA OFFICE and expanded throughout Rivercess, Margibi and Montserrado County.

The exercise was to enable participants to know their rights, Human rights as well as issues both locally and internationally.

LEGAL/UNPBF/KTK gives Support to Local Women Structures, Traditional and Religious Leaders and Youth Group through Dialogues.

September 23-27, 2021: The Protection and Support Dialogue was held with Traditional and Religious Leaders, Community Leaders, Women and Youth Groups and Stakeholders in Grandbassa County and Rivercess under the UNPBF/KTK Project.

Our aim was towards giving Protection & Support as well as enabling a safer environment for Human Rights Defenders in Liberia.

LEGAL holds Training for Law Enforcement Officers under AJWS/ DRL

September 14-15, 2021: The Training was done under the theme Enhancing Social Protection for Vulnerable Women, Girls and Other Discriminated Group for Social Change in Liberia.

August 28, 2021- Solidarity Sisters Network of Liberia held a one-day stakeholder dialogue in Ganta, Nimba County with stakeholders from the Liberia National Police, Liberian National Fire Service, Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency, Liberia immigration Services and community leaders from within the county.

Stories of change and how the previous training conducted by SoSNoL helped stakeholders perception of ‘gender’, were shared during the dialogue.

August 17, 2021- LEGAL held a two day verification exercise at the Barbra Ann clinic located in Barnesville, the TB Annex at Paynesville’s and the Clara Town Health Facility in Clara town, to check the accuracy and inconsistencies after data migration is done.
